Unity has been in business since 2006. It is owned and operated by Beth and Joe Walkos, residents of the City Different for a combined forty years.  Our mission is to offer Santa Feans and visitors quality contemporary clothing at a reasonable price. Although we have an eye toward the future, we appreciate classic styling that has stood the test of time.

We pride ourselves on the size and comfort of our dressing rooms (equipped with full length mirrors) and the cleanliness of our store. We get new styles in on a regular basis. We usually receive one piece per size per style, so you can be pretty sure that you are not going to be out and seeing someone else in the same outfit. We do, however suggest that you keep us informed of your social engagements so that we can do our part to prevent such an occurrence.

Why the name "Unity"?
We wanted a name that expresses the philosophy of the interconnectedness of all beings and all things.  Our full name is "Unity. Fashion for all."  We try to offer an atmosphere where all are welcome, regardless of age, gender, political views or any other grouping characteristics, where artificial barriers that separate us all are left at the doorway.  We try to provide an open, comfortable space where one can simply "be" while either perusing new clothing selections or simply stopping in to see what is happening in the universe of "unity".

The clothing and accessories that we select for our store are items that are fashionable yet functional -- wearable fashion.  No longer do Santa Feans need to travel to a metropolitan area or another country to find attractive contemporary pieces that are both stylish and comfortable, and can be worn here or any other place one might travel.  In fact, our motto is "It's not the destination; it's the journey.  Dress accordingly."

The store itself is a light-filled, uncluttered space.  There is a comfortable sitting area where one can relax without feeling rushed or where one can find refuge from the world outside our door.   The dressing rooms are comfortably large with a full size mirror and good lighting in each.  We try to maintain a neutral atmosphere where the senses are nourished, not overwhelmed, and we encourage our customers and patrons to celebrate the "unity" in all while appreciating the uniqueness of the individual.

What better way to to begin the path to "unity" than to dress in "unity fashion"?
